Artist Profile
The majority of my work involves people and creating work to suite people’s needs. Nature is my greatest inspiration and challenges to help a group produce something innovated yet curriculum based or skilled based. I have been producing artwork since 1986 and over the last six years I’ve been a co-ordinator for a variety of projects whilst teaching part time Art & Design in Gorseinon College. From ‘Banner 2000’ ‘Waste on the Catwalk’ ‘Magnificent Flags’ Bronlly felt project’ ‘Batik with Drug Rehabilitation’. Introduction to ‘Paint & paint brush making’ and many others. At present I have been working with the Swansea ‘Libraries Service’ producing work in Library opening times ‘Felt making with Penybryn Special Needs School’ and creating print for a children’s story book.
