Dance | Movement
My passion for movement began when I watched the leaves on the trees blow in the wind as I lay in my pram under the thin, pale light of the northern Swedish skies. This continued through my dance training, my travels across the world and into my arrival here, to live, work and root in my borderline communities. This passion has led, not only to my sense of comfort & security in moving through space whether by plane, train, boat, car, bicycle, jumping, turning or gliding across the floor but also my interest in how communication, relationships and movement language are defined by culture and how minority groups exist and survive within bigger, more dominant ones. My aim is to find that communication and expression between individuals and groups through movement and laughter.
