Artist Profile
I make one off pieces of ceramic using an ancient Korean-Japanese form of firing and glazing called Raku. I am inspired by natural forms usually organic and also by African and Asian ethnic pottery. I have been teaching pottery for 10 years at various schools, colleges, youth clubs and day centres. I work with clients who may have learning difficulties, behavioural problems or physical difficulties. I find clay is very therapeutic and I enjoy teaching very much.
