Artist Profile
Linda’s roots and culture are an integral part of her work. Born in India, her formative years were spent in a rich, diverse environment in the Midlands, full of eastern culture with many functional and decorative techniques being passed on to her. Linda displays a distinctly eastern quality in her work and her individual sense of colour and pattern are transferred as a richly decorative technique often producing wonderful unpredictable results. During her teaching career Linda has taught all age groups. She developed the Textiles / Collage part of the Art National Curriculum for Dyfed leading Inset workshops for practising teachers.

Artists Biography
Linda has worked individually and with numerous groups of people with special needs for many years. Linda uses materials that are at hand and re-cycling has become a major focus of her work. Linda has had many exhibitions including;

Art Matters – Tenby
High Seas – Tenby
The Albany – Cardiff
Scolton Manor – Haverfordwest
Picton Castle – Haverfordwest
To name a few, her work has also been featured in a BBC production ‘Beautiful Things’ which was broadcast nationwide and abroad. Linda is a member of the Embroiders Guild and has also worked on a number of private commissions.
