Dance in Education

Arts Care Gofal Celf has worked in partnership with Sports Pembrokeshire & Sports Carmarthenshire since early 2010 to increase the number of young people engaging in physical activities within school. Arts Care Gofal Celf independently deliver a wide programme of in school workshops, teacher training days, after school & lunch time dance clubs within many Primary & Secondary Schools across Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire.

All dance workshops are led by Professional Dance Artists & Staff. All Artists delivering on behalf of ACGC are both qualified & experienced Community Dance Practitioners. For further information about dance in schools please do get in touch.

Arts Care Gofal Celf can deliver:

Ø One-off dance taster sessions, identifying the needs & interest for further dance provision in schools
Ø Creative dance sessions linked to the curriculum
Ø Teacher Training Dance Days for individual schools or cluster schools
Ø Dance resources tailor made to meet the needs of individual schools children
Ø Inclusive dance workshops for children
Ø One on one dance & movement workshops for children with learning difficulties & disabilities
Ø Touch Trust workshops, specifically for children with multiple & profound disabilities
Ø Stylised dance classes just for fun, enjoyment and health & wellbeing for staff of students/children
