Artist Profile
My background is varied - mental health nurse, youth worker and
artist. Within my nursing career I have worked in acute, community,
prison, drug & alcohol detox, street homeless projects in South Wales
and London. Within my youth working experience working in the valleys of
South Wales on diversional activities, in comprehensive schools, video
prokects, organising and running summer workshops in art & craft, face
painting, working with 16-24 year olds exploring issues of self and
personal development through the medium of art, more recently
working with 10-11 year olds excluded from school using art within
issues around confidence and anger management, next project using
art with school phobics. I enjoy working with all ages of people and the
greatest joy is seeing someone get a real kick out of something they
have made or helped to make and having fun.

Welsh-learner & mother, this year I would like to further my studies into jewellery making and stained glass.
