Artist Profile
My work springs from a fascination in observation and reflection through simple materials, acrylic paint, pencil, papier-mâché. These have the expressive power to evoke images, memories and Association, to carry one back to earliest childhood; to explore deeper levels of consciousness. To search for meaning and identity, to experience revelations. My work relates closely to the reminiscence sessions I have been involved with since 2004, where image and word is a vehicle for clients to explore past experience as an untapped creative resource.
