Artist Profile
Diane combines traditional and spontaneous techniques to create vibrant 3D surfaces. She is a community artist and has worked with groups of every age and ability but specialises in encouraging those who have been damaged by life. Inspired by the natural world the pieces range from the small and personal to site-specific backdrops. Past projects include re-cycling festivals, costumes, backdrops for theatres, hospitals and other public buildings. Diane has facilitated projects in India, Dublin and throughout the UK.

BA Hons Woven Textiles
Exhibited internationally e.g. knitting and stitching show
Residencies include primary and secondary schools, colleges, theatres, re-cycling festivals, refugees, farms for city children.
Several major residences in Dublin focused on deprived areas of the city whilst those in India concentrated on schools and rural communities.
Private commissions.
